Your Dua Reminder

Maintaining control over anger is crucial for preserving the well-being of both your mind and your relationships. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) illustrated this during a conversation with his companions when he asked them about the definition of a strong person. Their initial response focused on physical strength, but the Prophet enlightened them by saying that true strength lies in the ability to control one's anger. Furthermore, he advised “when a person is angry, and he says “A’uzu billah” (I seek refuge in Allah), his anger will depart.” (Saheeh Ahadeeths compiled by Al-Albani)

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
auzubillah minashaitan nirajeem
I seek refuge in Allah from the outcast Shaitan

About Your Misbaha Beads

Metamorphic rocks serve as the primary source for both Jade varieties, although their formation processes differ. Jadeite Jade, for instance, typically arises from intense high-pressure metamorphism, whereas Nephrite Jade is a product of less intense low-pressure metamorphism. In terms of durability, Jade registers a hardness of approximately 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, rendering it relatively resilient as a gemstone.

How to determine the perfect size of your tasbih bracelet

Determining the perfect size for your islamic prayer bead bracelet, also known as misbaha, or subha, can sometimes be challenging - but don't worry, we are here to help!

Method 1 - Use a flexible measuring tape

Wrap the measuring tape snugly around the widest part of your wrist. Note the number on the measuring tape, and add a half inch to determine the right bracelet size. For example: Wrist measurement is 5.5 inches, then your bracelet size is 6 inches.

Method 2 - Use a string or strip of paper

Wrap the string or strip of paper around your wrist just above your wrist bone. Mark where the string or paper meets around your wrist with a pen or marker. Take the string or paper and lay it flat, and measure against a ruler. Take note of the measurement.  For a Loose fit add 1/2 an inch or 1.2cm around

Tasbih Bracelets with Chain Extenders

For tasbih bracelets with chain extenders, you will need to add the bracelet length + extender length to determine the bracelet size. For example, if your wrist size is medium (6.25 to 6.75"), a bracelet that is 5.5" + 1.5" extender (up to 7 inches around) will fit your wrist. If you want a longer extender, then select a longer length extender. We have at least three extender lengths to choose from :)

How to determine the perfect size of your tasbih necklace

The traditional and most popular size beads for a 99 tasbih necklace are either 6mm or 8mm. Our 6mm tasbih necklace measures approximately 15 inches/38cm long and our 8mm tasbih necklace measures approximately 19 inches/48cm long. The measurement is taken from the top of the tasbih to the bottom of the pendant.

Which necklace size should I choose?

Our models range in body type and height to help show you what our necklaces will look on different types of people. It really comes down to personal preference and the length or size of bead that you normally like to wear. Other than personal preference, a few things to consider are:

  • If you use your tasbih to pray, count the beads, you may prefer the 8mm bead size as they have a more tactile feel in your hands.
  • If you prefer to feel more weight when wearing your tasbih, then you may again choose the 8mm size beads.
  • If you have neck or back problems, the 6mm size tasbih will be more preferable as they feel lightweight even when its made of gemstone.

What did our GR models prefer?

We asked our models what their preferences were for the type and size of necklaces. Our 5'2" model preferred the smaller 6mm tasbih necklace and our 5'9" model had a strong preference for the 8mm tasbih necklace. The models that ranged in between these heights did not have as strong preference for either 6mm or 8mm and both sizes looked great on them!

Our Gemstone Selection Process:
The gemstones and pearls used in your tasbih remain in their original form as extracted from the earth and/or cultivated from freshwater sources. They undergo only polishing and cutting processes to achieve different shapes. These untreated gemstones and pearls possess more inclusions, greater durability, and higher quality. This intentional choice is based on the belief that utilizing natural gemstones in your tasbih enhances the significance of your tasbih experience.
